Restaurant R'evolution

The highly acclaimed New Orleans restaurant from Chef John Folse offers imaginative reinterpretations of classic Cajun and Creole cuisine. Restaurant R’evolution is located in The Royal Sonesta New Orleans, in the heart of the city’s legendary French Quarter.

 

Grahame was honored to be commissioned to create a series of one-of-a-kind murals for Restaurant R'evolution. Set within the Storyville Parlor, the most elegant of R'evolution's dining spaces, Grahame's gorgeous series of murals artfully interprets the history of Louisiana cuisine. The four unique murals each tell a story and pay homage to the culinary traditions on which Restaurant R'evolution is based.

In addition, Grahame and his team decorated the large mirror with a vintage recipe for Creole turtle soup. To complete the room, Grahame painted the crown moulding to give an aged bronze effect which really reflects back the light and add majesty to the room. The ceiling - adorned with a crystal chandelier - is the finishing touch to this luxurious and bespoke setting.
