Bringing magic to a child's bedroom walls allows my creativity to really flow. From fairytale princesses, forests and under-the-sea kingdoms, to dream-like clouds and space scenes - there is no limit to mine - or a child's - imagination when it comes to designing these magical bedrooms.
Be inspired by these incredible kids' bedrooms I have created with my custom murals.

TROPICAL GARDEN
This was a very special custom mural created for the walls of a nursery in Miami. This special project featured lots of personal imagery and symbols, which meant a lot to this family.
The brief was a garden, inspired by a garden with lush foliage that would incorporate these personal details.
The mural was mainly created over flat closet doors - and the best part is that as these doors are removable, the client can take these with them to future homes, making it truly a mural to last a lifetime.
TO INFINITY...
Step into space with a wall of galaxies! The design firm, Maite Granda, wanted a blue galaxy with no stars.
I used a combination of techniques, including wax crayons, airbrush and specialty brushes, collected over a lifetime. The base colour was chosen to harmonise with the fixtures and furnishings. It's a bedroom where dreams begin!

CLOUD 9
I love to paint skies - and while many of my tromp-l'oil skies adorn ceiling and domes in homes and restaurants, it's fun projects such as these where I can really excel - and have fun.
I have created several full-room sky murals for children's bedrooms - providing a whimsical and dream-like destination.
BEACH LIFE
Errez Design wanted a "subtle, serene & peaceful" mural for the bedroom of a client's son. The boy had requested a calming room that wasn't sensory overload. Together with Errez Design we infused his love of the ocean in subtle ways.
My custom mural, textural furniture and a killer light fixture come together to create the perfect environment.
I applied a series of hand-mixed glazes applied in such a way to create the hazy, misty feeling. I created graduations which are not perfectly smooth but more organic, with vague, soft suggestions of clouds/ distant hills - but very indistinct - really suggestive.
I also added countless luminescent stars to the bedroom ceiling!
